BAPTISM SUNDAY
5th September 2021 Rejoice Centre, Nabyewanga Mpigi. Report. The Baptism Sunday also which marked our 22nd Sunday since the planting of The Rejoice Centre Church, was extremely incredible. Despite the fact that, there's still an ongoing ban on Worship Centres and all kinds of gathering in Uganda as the Lockdown prolonged for another 60 days. We were able to have a successful day of Baptism where 9 believers were Baptised. The Church cant be silenced. Heaven isn’t Locked down. Jesus is still in the business of Saving, healing and delivering His Own. When everything look changed, the earth being upside down. We are reminded of what the scriptures says Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Our Day started with a Home Service at Goshem Home just like our Sundays are. Sister Esther Nakazzi led the Service as the Spirit of the Lord guided her. She invited me to share the Word of God in the Morning Service, where i concluded on my sermon about "Our Inheritance in Christ". In Christ Jesus , we have inherited eternal Life, His Authority, His Glory and Power and also spiritual blessings in Heavenly places. God made the first Man in having all the inheritance of His likeness. But Adam's fall got for us all to lose Our Inheritance in God. Christ comes to get us back into our Inheritance. So in Him , we have inherited our former identity. Just like the Children of Israel had lost their Inheritance (Canaan) and had lived in Egypt as slaves for more than 400 years. God sent Moses to get them back into the land of their Inheritance which the Lord had promised Abraham. As they had moved a little distance, they had to go through the Red Sea as God intended to (Baptise them) and separate them from Slavery (Egypt).. In the same way, Jesus commands "He who believes and is baptised shall be saved but he who believes not shall be damned"... The second Preacher was Apostle Cate Kitondekigya from Nabusanke (Our Guests together with Her daughter Zahara), She shared about how Christ made us righteous!. Through Him alone one can be made righteous. Our good Works are not enough to qualify us But Our obedience to Him. At 12:30pm the service was concluded with a session of prayer led by Pastor Ssemujju Gerald. The next was to see our way to Nakaziba Landing Site for baptism but before, Maama Kamoga had also invited us for lunch. It was a big blessing to the Church as she served all members including the Children, such a delicious meal and drinks. May the Lord bless the Family. Since the site is a distance away it took us over an hour to reach there. Members walking in groups silently praying and their hearts surrendering to God. Immediately, as we landed at the Site. We began praising and Worshipping God in songs and prayer. I and Pastor Ssemujju went into the Water, Baptism started as Apostle Cate would pray for each one to receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. By 4pm, it was all done. So members had to walk back to the Church where they were issued with Baptism Certificates. The name of those Baptised on 5th September 2021 are..... ✓Kabanda John ✓Nakibuule ✓Lubega ✓Mirembe Ruth ✓Kabanda Janet ✓Muganzi Grace ✓Nakagwa Maria Gorret ✓Esther Nakazzi ✓Tonny Praise be to God, for it is great seeing hearts surrendering to the Will of God by fulfilling all righteousness and receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit. I want to thank God for our Bishop, Daddy Stephen Basalirwa for His efforts to make this day happen and also for Baptism Certificates. This is a big blessing to us. Big thanks to everyone who stands in prayer and support to the Work of God at Nabyewanga from the day God started it in our hearts. May the Lord bless you so much. We Give all the Glory back to God. Hallelujah. Yours Thomas Kamoga Team Leader. Upcoming Events. ✓Church Re-Opening 3rd October 2021 ✓ Evangelism Week 25th-31st October 2021. ✓ Youth Rally 2021 17th December 2021. "Rejoice with me, for I have found what I lost"
Luke 15:6 (KJV)
Goshem Uganda Ministries was founded in 2015 in response to God's call upon
Thomas A Kamoga, then a Secondary Student at Emmanuel Secondary school in
Gomba District Uganda where He served as a Students' Pastor and later a patron.
The Primary mission of the Goshem Uganda Ministries is to win souls to the Lord .
Many Christians however, seem not to understand this anymore .
Evangelism is at the bottom of the list of priorities in many churches, while
most believer's spend years without ever trying to talk to at least one soul about Christ.
Since God values souls far much more than gold or silver, we are here on a mission,
to spread this Life Changing Gospel Of Peace in the shortest possible time
by utilising every effective strategy available to us.

The Meaning of the name of Goshem:
Goshem is originally Hebrew for: "To be Rained Upon or Rain" Some direct translations display it as "Goshen" which literally means: "Drawing Near" Goshen is a renown region in the northern Egypt, east of the lower Nile where the Children of Israel lived from the time of Joseph to the time of Moses, Goshem / Goshen is now a non-stop sound of the trumpet of: Drawing all near to God through His Grace, His Hope His Repentance & His Love. |
"In that Day, the root of Jesse will stand
as a banner to the peoples, the nations will rally to Him." Isaiah 11:10 (NIV) "And it shall come to Pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my spirit to all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men will see visions and your old men shall dream dreams." Acts 2:17 (NIV) Goshem Uganda Ministries therefore Believe: God Desires to Love this generation, To let His Spirit Rain Upon Us That we may come to see and to know The Light that is The Truth. "And ye shall know the Truth and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32 (KJV) |
